Audhumla licked the ice and uncovers a man named Buri from the ice, who has a son and ultimately 3 grandsons, the first of whom is Odin. The melting frost forms a cow, named Audhumla, from whom 4 rivers of milk originate. ![]() From Ymir's sweat while he sleeps, a man, woman, and children grow. Ymir is created where hot and cold meet and it is from him that the Frost ogres (sometimes called giants) are created. At the beginning there was nothing, the Ginnungagap (Void), until the first world was created, Muspell. ![]()
